Welcome to Wraysbury Lawn Tennis Club

Wraysbury LTC is a private tennis club established in 1922, located between Windsor and Staines. The club is a warm, friendly place to enjoy yourself whatever your level, with abilities ranging from social players through to league team players. We actively encourage juniors and offer them year round coaching, and we also provide coaching for adults. Set in idyllic surroundings with a bowls green on one side and a cricket pitch on the other we offer the perfect tennis environment whether you are playing or watching.

CHRISTMAS PARTY

This year's Christmas Party will be on Saturday 9th December at 7.00pm in the Boxer's Barn at The George. First Come First Served, so please sign up asap in the Clubhouse.

MIXED DOUBLES FINAL

Congratulations to Kathleen and Akira Kirton, who won our delayed Mixed Doubles Final beating Ty and Alison Russell in a close fought match.

PEGGY WILLATS ROSEBOWL

Congratulations to Janet Graham & John Kelvey, the worthy winners beating Maggie Dickens & Tim Kiteley into a closely fought second place. Maggie also picked up the Captain's Cup award (for the second year running).  Click here for more details and photos.

JUNIOR FINALS DAY

A very successful Junior Finals Day was held on Saturday 30th September.  The Under 8 winner was Samuel Platts, with runner-up Rocco Rahman; the Under 9 winner was Isabella Makuch with Edward Seidler the runner-up. Under 12 winner was Emily Spink with runner-up Calum Dobson and the overall Under 16 winner was Shreyaan Gangaal with Emily Spink runner-up. Emily was also awarded a cup as the top girl player in the Tournament.

The Alistair Young trophy, awarded to the player showing the most enthusiasm and commitment, went to Daniel Bristow who has been very loyal and dedicated all season.  Click here for more details and photos.

FINALS DAY 2017

The Ladies' Doubles was won by Dawn Funnell and Kathleen Kirton after a close game throughout.  The Men's Doubles was won by Ian Lloyd and Rob Crisp in two sets.  The Ladies' Singles was won by Kathleen Kirton, after a really close three set match, interrupted by a fierce thunderstorm, and the Men's Singles was won by Alex Smith-Bingham in two sets.  Thanks for all those who helped out.   Click HERE for report and photos.

JEAN BELL TOURNAMENT & BBQ

Great fun was had by all participants in this year's Jean Bell Tournament that was won by Isabella Makuch playing with her father Zen. They narrowly beat Ben and Daniel Bristow . Junior Tennis Coaching

Junior Tennis coaching is available for children from 2 years to 18 years of age and we comply fully with the Lawn Tennis Associations mini tennis guidelines. We also run the LTA's award scheme 'Earn Your Stripes'. This scheme is designed for players between 5 and 10 years to take part in exciting exercises with regular rewards which encourage them to develop their tennis skills at a pace that suits them.
